The Labyrinth has been known since ancient times in many cultures as an image of the path of life/the path to God. In some, like this one from Chatres Cathedral, it is shown that the path is not straight, but takes detours, sometimes very close to the center, sometimes around the periphery, yet ultimately leads to the goal if one persists. In other labyrinths, there are dead ends, so it is important to keep searching for the right path, to follow God's trail.
It does matter what I do and how I live, whether I move forward or stand still, because life is a miracle – even if I haven’t reached my goal yet.
